Our Board Members & Caretakers

Terena, Office Coordinator, Campground of the RockiesI have been with CORA since the summer of 2024. I am married with four children and one grandchild. I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially overlanding and driving scenic mountain pass roads. I appreciate the adventure of exploring new places and the opportunity to relax and unwind at natural hot springs.

Cody Bathaeur - CORA Board MemberHi, I’m Cody! My family and I love spending time at CORA, using it as our base for camping, fishing, and skiing in the Rockies. When I’m not here, I run a specialty construction business in Colorado, and in my free time I enjoy riding motorcycles, fly fishing, and snowboarding. As a family, we especially love heading up to Monarch Mountain for skiing and snowboarding together. Most of all, I enjoy making memories with my wife, Danielle, and our kids, Addison and Camden. I’m excited to serve as President and to do my part in helping keep CORA the welcoming, fun community we all enjoy.

Shandel Winchell, Board MemberHi, my name is Shandel Winchell, Vice President of CORA. We bought in CORA in May of 2022, with my husband, Jim Winchell, and our 2 chihuahuas. I have served on HOA boards for 32 years in over a dozen communities in Colorado and New York properties.

When I was younger I was a computer trainer and an office manager, while dabbling in real estate investing, fix and flips and rentals. Currently preparing for retirement, I manage our rentals and enjoy volunteering on the Board.
When not working on our houses, my husband and I enjoy travelling, meeting new people and listening to live music, he’s an avid snowboarder. I have been very impressed by the CORA community and my desire is to contribute in making CORA enjoyable for everyone.

Suzy Bradbury - CORA board memberHello, my name is Suzi Bradbury. My husband Doug and I have owned in CORA since late 2018. We own CS lots 9 & 10.

I work for the Arapahoe County Sheriffs office in Centennial, CO. I am 4 years away from retirement. We have a son who is a Warrant Officer 3 (WO3) in the Army and currently stationed in California with his wife and 3 boys. We have a daughter who is a Transportation Safety Officer with TSA and works out at DIA.

We have two miniature Schnauzers, Winston and Murphy and an African Grey parrot with a 50 word vocabulary and big attitude.

We have lived in Colorado since 1986 and enjoy the mountains, hiking, snowshoeing, ATV riding, campfires, shed hunting and everything Colorado and the mountains have to offer.

We come up to CORA every weekend, since I work 4/10’s, my weekends are not normal weekends, but three-day weekends.

I feel being a part of the board is a shared responsibility and volunteering is vital to CORA’s success.

I possess a distinctive professional profile, built upon an extensive 30-year career in software development following rigorous academic training with Master of Science degrees in both Geology and Computer Engineering. As the business owner of  Spatial Enterprise Systems, I drive innovation in spatial technology, resulting in five patent applications for the company’s proprietary platform.

Beyond the professional realm, this commitment to high performance extends to my active life. I am a dedicated outdoor enthusiast, evidenced by my completion of 27 ’14ers’ (peaks over 14,000 feet) in 2024 and my status as an active skier, hitting the slopes 52 days during the 2024-2025 season. My profound connection to the sea is reflected in my being an active sailor, regularly spending two months in the ocean every year. This blend of deep technical expertise and personal endurance proves my capacity for tackling complex, long-term challenges with focus and resilience.

Tom Paquette - CORA Board MemberTom graduated from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY, with an electrical engineering degree. He then worked for some large corporations (e.g., Honeywell, Mostek, UTMC, and Ford, all in Colorado Springs) before starting his own electronics company, Insight Analytical Labs, (IAL).

While president of IAL, he was responsible for all activities there including the financials (using 3 versions of QuickBooks).  After 30 years in existence, IAL closed due to the changes in the marketplace from the Covid years.

Tom retired in 2024 and moved with his wife to Lecanto, FL, where he now resides in the winter months.

Michael Bell - CORA board memberMy wife Cheryl and I are both retired going on 3 years now and spend winter months sailing the Caribbean out of St. Thomas on our 33 Foot Nonsuch and the rest of our time RVing in and out of beautiful Colorado with our newly adopted English Cream Golden Retriever, Grey Sea.

The 3 of us are very social creatures and we are excited to meet and get to know more of the people of CORA and work with them to continue to make the community a better place for everyone.

I have the gift of creativity with problem solving, extensive experience in construction and maintenance and collaborating with others to maintain the best interest of CORA.

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for all of us this next year.

And remember volunteer, volunteer, volunteer.
